We source and install

We hand-pick pumpkins, mums, and straw the morning of your install and style your porch in about an hour. You don't need to be home.

After

We take it all down

First week of November we remove everything and donate what's still good. No rotting pumpkins, no trip to the dump.

The porch that makes neighbors slow down on their evening walk. Pumpkins spilling down the steps, mums in deep burgundy or cream, a straw bale to lift it all, and lanterns glowing by dusk. It's the full fall look, the one we'd choose for our own house, and the one most Point Loma porches end up with.

Every package includes a quick design chat, hand-picked pumpkins from local growers, delivery and styling by us, and removal during the first week of November. Pumpkins and bales sit on risers so your porch stays clean. LED candles only, never open flame. Not sure which one is you? Text us a photo of your porch and we'll tell you honestly.

Thanksgiving

Skip the skeletons. Start in November.

Go all-in on spooky for Halloween, then let us bring the fall porch for Thanksgiving. Any package, installed November 1 to 8, taken down the week after Thanksgiving. Same prices, same palettes, more burgundy and wheat.

Already a fall customer?

The Thanksgiving Refresh, $195

We swap any tired pumpkins, add wheat, dried leaves, and vines, and carry your porch through Thanksgiving. Booked at your install; no second deposit.

Christmas

The Snow Globe. Now reserving December dates.

Last December we built a lit, walk-in snow globe seating area in our own front yard. Neighbors stopped. Kids begged. This year we'll design and install one for you, along with fresh garland, wreaths, velvet ribbon in burgundy or cream, and warm-white lighting to match.

Christmas installs are quoted per home after a quick visit. Installs run November 21 to December 12, takedown in early January, and we store it all for you until next year.

Who we are

Your neighbors, with a truck full of pumpkins.

We're the Taylors, and we live right here in Point Loma. We started decorating our own porch a little too seriously, then the neighbors started asking. Point Loma Porches is our answer: a beautiful seasonal front yard for people who'd rather enjoy it than build it.

We only serve Point Loma this year, on purpose. Every porch is within a few minutes of our house, so if a pumpkin turns early we're there the same day.

Questions

The things people ask us on the sidewalk

Do I need to be home?

No. Tell us where to set up and any gate codes or dog situations, and we'll text you a photo when we're done.

How long do the pumpkins last?

Uncarved heirloom pumpkins on a shaded porch usually look great for four to six weeks, which carries you from late September past Halloween. Full sun and heat shorten that. If one turns early, text us and we'll swap it.

Can you use my own decorations?

Not this season. Everything we install is ours to source, so the look stays coordinated and the install stays quick. Ask us about it for Christmas.

What happens after Halloween?

We come back November 1 to 8, remove everything, and donate pumpkins that are still good to local animal rescues. If you'd like to keep the mums, just say so.

Where do you serve?

Point Loma only in 2026: Sunset Cliffs, Loma Portal, La Playa, Roseville, Fleetridge, the Wooded Area, and Point Loma Heights. If you're in Ocean Beach, text us and we'll see what we can do.

How do deposits and payment work?

A 50% deposit reserves your date. The balance is charged the day of install, after we send you the finished photo. Cancel more than 7 days before your install for a full refund.

What about rain or wind?

Point Loma weather is kind in October. If a storm does roll in, we'll move you to the next dry day and text you first.

My HOA is picky.

Most of what we do is pumpkins on a porch, which is rarely restricted. Check your rules, and skip the yard sign if they don't allow one; we'll still take care of you.
